Importance of Mentorship and Support Outside of Family with Mike Walker

Our next event is Thursday, February 29th from 9:30-11 am.  This is an in-person event.  When we have the total number of attendees we will let you know the location.

Coach Walker has over 25 years experience as teacher, coach and school administrator. These roles, plus the individual relationships developed along the way, have made him an expert in strategies to effectively guide mentees through the adversity they face in the critical years. He has had amazing opportunities leading a talented staff of educators, coaching all levels of baseball, football and basketball, as well as teaching classes such as Entrepreneurship, College Readiness and Contemporary Issues, just to name a few.

Coach Walker’s abundance of experience working with a variety of students gives him a unique opportunity to integrate several areas of focus all within the same program. He has extensive experience working with students with ADHD, dyslexia, EF challenges and/or on the autism spectrum.  His dynamic approach will allow his mentees to receive guidance in any combination that is customized for their benefit. He enjoys working with parents as much as he does the kids, as he values the concept of “team” to provide effective guidance to the mentees. Coach Walker introduces an innovative and holistic approach to success – his ultimate goal is to normalize mentoring and this crucial additional layer of support!

Mike will be discussing “The Importance of Mentorship and Support Outside of Family.”  We look forward to hearing him speak.  Learn more about Coach Walker at https://teamscoachingaz.com.
